What we need from you?
Let’s build some links
Step 1: Competitor Analysis
Step 2: Content Audit
Link building, in simple terms, is content marketing, which involves people mentioning your best content. We will go through your existing content and see if we can use it for our campaign. Content comes in different forms, like articles, lists, news, infographics, or videos. Your content could be a gold mine waiting to be discovered by your audience. Our role is to uncover it, polish it, and present it to your perfect audience. The content we pick will depend on our own method of qualifying it, as we believe each content type is treated differently.
Updating existing content: If we figure out one of your contents is outdated, we will suggest you update it to make it the best piece of content on that topic. This will give us the edge to offer the best-ever fresh content to the target lists.
Generate New Content: What happens when we discover that your website lacks some of the most valuable pieces of information that people are looking for? We simply suggest that you add content to your website that you can rank organically and that will also attract backlinks.
- Your competitor or related website content that is generating a good number of quality backlinks
- Relevancy to your audience
- People are talking about and sharing
- Uniqueness and in-depth
- Search volume per month
- Quality (In depth and quality)
- Published date and updated date
3. Create the ideal target list
This is a list of websites that are talking and sharing information about your industry. These are where your targeted audiences usually hang out. Having a link from this type of website is what we are targeting. Your target list can also be a mix of topical blogs, partners, e-commerce, industry organizations, etc. The target lists are basically qualified based on these factors:
- Are they relevant to your industry? How can they connect with you?
- The link tactic: is it guest posts, resources, expert roundups, etc.?
- A content type that we will be reaching for is commercial, informative, entertaining, newsworthy, video, or text.
- Are they safe? Are they linking to a shady, spammy site?
- Are they actually ranking for some keywords? We have seen thousands of websites rank for non-relevant or spammy keywords. Imagine a technology blog ranking for keywords about a celebrity’s bio and net worth.
- Metrics are something we do not care much about because there are thousands of websites with high DA/PA and DR/UR and hundreds of articles that actually rank for zero keywords.
- Your competitor’s existing backlinks. How are they linking, and what other sites are they linking to?
Once we have a list of our prospects, we will list out the prospects’ names and emails as well so that you can check whom we are reaching out to. We generally avoid gatekeepers and reach out to decision-makers directly.
4. Outreach:
We DON’T blast the list with the same email. Our experience says targeted, customized, and personalized email works best. Our goal is just not to send an email with the end of getting a link. Instead, we believe in building a relationship so that we can reach out again in the future for a better partnership.
Our outreach process:
- Personalize each email with at least 2 elements.
- Test out different email templates and angles.
- Follow up 3 more times. We believe that not everyone is free.
- Track the open rate, click through rate, and response rate.
- Any responses that need your attention will be notified to you so that we can plan the further negotiation ahead.
What you can expect?
- Guest Post: We contribute a guest article on our prospect site that links back to your website.
- Sponsored Post: These are sites that can drive a lot of targeted traffic to your website through the guest posts and articles we submit. But the problem is not all sites are open for guest posts, and some consider “sponsored posts” only. Which means they charge a certain amount for publishing the content on their website. These kinds of posts are labeled under “sponsored post” and Google can easily identify them. They might not quite help in SEO directly, but they have huge potential to send referral traffic.
- Broken Links: We find pages linking to relevant content like yours or to your competitor’s pages that no longer exist. We request them to replace the broken link with a link to your page.
- Resource Pages: These types of pages link out to a reliable resource for the information. The resource can be anything from an infographic, tool, or video to a piece of information.
- Niche Edit/Link Insert: We find pages that need to be updated and politely approach them with the updated piece of content or a link to our updated content.
- Round up: Have you or your website listed among the expert roundups?
